T-Mobile Tops US Networks While Galaxy S25+ Shines Across Carriers
PCMag's 2026 Best Mobile Networks study, based on over 2 million speed tests, crowns T-Mobile overall and across many states, with Mint Mobile excelling among MVNOs. A companion piece ranks phones on each network using a Mobile Phone Index that blends speed, review, and user satisfaction. Apple leads the overall phone brand, Samsung dominates Android, and the Galaxy S25+ is the top phone across networks, though carrier-specific leaders include AT&T: Galaxy A36 5G; Verizon: Pixel 10 Pro Fold; and T-Mobile: Galaxy S25+ (with strong showing from iPhone 17 Pro Max on that network). The findings underscore that phone performance varies by network, so the best device depends on your carrier.
