
21-Year-Old Woman Knocks Out Kroger Clerk in St. Clair Shores
A 21-year-old mother, Shelby Pelham, assaulted a Kroger clerk in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, after a dispute over her Bridge card not having enough money to cover her purchases. Pelham struck the clerk in the face, knocking her unconscious and causing a head injury. The incident, captured on security cameras, occurred in front of Pelham's one-year-old daughter. Pelham has been charged with aggravated assault and could face up to one year in prison if convicted. The clerk sustained a black eye and is currently on leave from work.
