Zendaya named Star of the Year at CinemaCon.
Zendaya received the Star of the Year Award at CinemaCon's Big Screen Achievement Awards and dedicated part of her speech to the power of storytelling and the theatrical experience. She shared a personal story about her first date at age 15, which was to see Spider-Man in the theater, a franchise she later joined as MJ. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the movie-going experience and hopes to continue working with the industry for many years to come.
