Marvel’s New Editor-in-Chief Stephen Wacker Prioritizes Accessibility and Giant Robots
Stephen Wacker has begun his tenure as Marvel Comics editor-in-chief with a focus on making comics accessible to new readers without requiring knowledge of decades of continuity. He aims to eliminate the reliance on designated 'jumping-on points' by ensuring every issue is self-contained enough to attract readers. Additionally, Wacker is pursuing the publication of a lost Frank Miller script and integrating giant robots into the Marvel Universe, while adopting a 'de-siloed' development model to improve cross-departmental communication.
