Nick Bosa's Haunting Warning to Cardinals Over Kyler Murray Draft Pick

Before the 2019 NFL Draft, Nick Bosa warned the Arizona Cardinals that he would "haunt" them if they drafted Kyler Murray over him. Despite Bosa's warning, the Cardinals selected Murray with the No. 1 pick, allowing the 49ers to take Bosa with the No. 2 pick. Keim also praised Kingsbury's work ethic and discussed the challenges of evaluating prospects with off-field issues, citing the example of former Cardinals first-round pick Robert Nkemdiche.

Former Arizona Cardinals VP accuses owner of retaliation and cheating.

Arizona Cardinals executive Terry McDonough has filed an arbitration demand with the NFL accusing team owner Michael Bidwill of demoting McDonough in 2019 after McDonough objected to a scheme circumventing the suspension of then-general manager Steve Keim. McDonough’s complaint claims he suffered “illegal and retaliatory mistreatment and abuse” from Bidwill after McDonough voiced objection to the burner phone scheme, which violated rules set forth for Keim’s suspension. The complaint seeks unspecified damages for breach of contract, retaliation against a whistleblower, intentional infliction of emotional distress and defamation.
