SLED Charges Three Men in 2018 Sexual Assault Case Named by Rep. Nancy Mace
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has filed charges against three men accused of sexually assaulting an intoxicated woman in 2018. The suspects, John Douglas Osborne, Brendan Patrick Bryant, and Eric Bernard Bowman, were arrested on October 14, 2026, following an investigation that began in December 2023. U.S. Representative Nancy Mace had publicly accused these individuals and a fourth man during a speech on the House floor in February 2025. While three men face charges for assault and voyeurism, the fourth man named by Mace, Brian Musgrave, was not charged. The case stems from an incident at a Sullivan's Island home where the victim was allegedly incapacitated by alcohol.
