Flanagan's 'Carrie' Premieres as Eight-Part Series with Ambitions for Trilogy
Mike Flanagan's adaptation of Stephen King's 'Carrie' premieres on Prime Video on October 7 as an eight-episode miniseries. While Flanagan has expressed a desire for the show to run as a three-season trilogy, critics are divided on whether the expanded format successfully modernizes the horror classic or dilutes its original impact.
