Iconic Sunbird Mountain Grill demolished in Colorado Springs.
The Sunbird Mountain Grill, a fine dining establishment and iconic location in Colorado Springs, was torn down to make way for the High Garden Event Center, a castle-like venue for hosting events. Despite the building's decline in quality over the years, community members shared memories of important moments they shared there. The new owner plans to heavily involve the nonprofit world and create a place for community events. The High Garden Event Center is set to open in fall of 2024.
