Little Fire Forces Evacuations as Alameda County Firefighters Contain Blaze Near Pleasanton
A vegetation fire near Pleasanton in Alameda County prompted mandatory evacuations for parts of Pleasanton as the Little Fire burned in Sunol. It started around 3:39 p.m. and had scorched over 1,000 acres with about 10% containment by 10 p.m. One firefighter was injured.
