Hollywood Homeless Encampment Cleared, 30 Provided Temporary Housing
More than 30 unhoused individuals were removed from a long-standing encampment outside the iconic Sunset Sound recording studio in Hollywood as part of Mayor Karen Bass' Inside Safe initiative, which aims to move the homeless into city-leased housing. The operation saw 100% of the unhoused residents accepting services and housing, demonstrating the effectiveness of collaborative efforts between the County, City, and community in addressing the homelessness crisis.
