Montclair Police Probe $70K Beer Heist as Pabst Laughs at Thieves
On August 17, 2026, thieves stole approximately 40,000 pounds of beer from an Anheuser-Busch distribution center in Montclair, California. The theft, valued at $70,000, involved two separate incidents: a $45,000 shipment to Tucson that never arrived and a $25,000 pickup using fraudulent documents. Pabst Brewing Company responded with a humorous social media campaign offering a reward for the return of the 33,984 cans, while police investigate potential links between the two thefts.
