Florida Judge Continues to Block Biden's Immigration Policy Despite Administration's Efforts.
U.S. District Judge T. Kent Wetherell, a member of The Federalist Society, has temporarily blocked the Biden administration's immigration "parole" policy that would allow some asylum-seekers to enter the U.S. with less restrictive supervision. Wetherell, who previously ruled against Biden's immigration policies, was appointed by former Florida Republican Gov. Charlie Crist and later nominated by former President Donald Trump. The Biden administration is expected to appeal the case to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
