Taylor Swift tracks disappear from Team Trump TikTok posts amid artist backlash
Taylor Swift songs were removed or muted from several Team Trump TikTok videos, including posts that previously featured tracks like 'August' and 'Father Figure' and a 'Red' montage, as artists criticized the White House for using their music without permission. The edits follow Swift’s public presence in political discourse and broader pushback from other musicians; the White House has not publicly commented on Swift’s removal, while other artists such as Katy Perry and Ariana Grande publicly condemned the use of their songs.
