Samantha Bee to Lead CBC Comedy Slate in The Ambassador as Canada’s Unorthodox Diplomat
Samantha Bee will star as Olivia Winters in The Ambassador, a half-hour workplace comedy for CBC about a former actor turned Canadian diplomat at the embassy in Bulgaria. The show was unveiled at CBC’s upfront among other new CBC comedies and dramas from collaborators behind Cardinal, Snowpiercer, Norsemen, Lilyhammer, Letterkenny, and a P.K. Subban drama.
