Keke Palmer Produces and Stars in Universal Comedy 'The Backup'
Keke Palmer will star in Universal's upcoming comedy film, The Backup, produced by Kevin Hart and Bryan Smiley of Hartbeat. The film follows a man who tries to win back his childhood friend, played by Palmer, who is engaged to a billionaire. The script is written by Chris Brew and Jordan Gouveia, and no director is attached yet. Palmer recently starred in Jordan Peele's horror film Nope and is represented by 3 Arts Entertainment and Hertz Lichtenstein.
