McConaughey’s Bluegrass Cover of ‘Choosin’ Texas’ Blows Langley Away on Fallon
Matthew McConaughey performed a bluegrass rendition of Ella Langley’s chart-topping hit 'Choosin’ Texas' with Jimmy Fallon and The Last Bison on The Tonight Show. The performance, part of the 'Audience Suggestion Box' segment, promoted McConaughey’s upcoming film 'The Rivals of Amziah King' and prompted Langley to react with 'I may never recover' on Instagram. The song has spent 17 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a record for a solo female artist.
