A 26-year-old in Singapore was arrested for allegedly gaining unauthorized remote access to a media server and leaking Paramount+’s animated feature The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, which had been moved to streaming. The full film circulated online after being posted to X, and police seized electronic devices. Under Singapore law, unauthorized access to film material can bring up to seven years in jail and/or fines. Paramount+ and Flying Bark Productions said the leak did not come from the studio, with the film’s crew reacting with disappointment over the piracy while the project’s release on streaming proceeded.
