Games Workshop Unveils 'Wrath of Terra,' the Second Novel in the Scouring Series
Games Workshop has announced 'Wrath of Terra,' the second novel in the 'The Scouring' series, set in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy. Authored by John French, the book shifts the narrative focus from Earth to Mars, exploring the political and military struggles of the Imperium as it attempts to reclaim the planet from the Dark Mechanicum. The story follows multiple characters, including an Ultramarine, a Blood Angel, and a loyalist Mechanicus, as they navigate the uncertainty and grief following the death of Primarch Sanguinius. French emphasized the challenge of writing for an era where the Space Marines lack their previous clarity and purpose, focusing on how their emotions manifest in a post-war world.
