Warner Bros. Television sent a cease-and-desist letter to Fox News Media and Lionsgate over promotional materials for the upcoming dating series 'The Vow.' The dispute centers on the use of falling rose petals and the phrase 'The Bachelor' in a teaser, which WBTV claims infringes on its intellectual property. Fox News rejected the claims, arguing the imagery is generic to the romance genre and that the letter is a malicious attempt to suppress a competing show. The series, hosted by former 'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison, is scheduled to premiere on Fox Nation on November 11.
