Ex-DOJ Prosecutor Indicted for Stealing Sealed Trump Report
A former federal prosecutor, Carmen Lineberger, was indicted on four counts for allegedly saving the sealed volume of Jack Smith’s report on Trump’s classified-documents case and emailing it to her personal Gmail account; she appeared in court and was released on bond. The indictment cites removal and alteration of public records, and it references prior court orders restricting release of Volume II of Smith’s report.
