Universal's Kid-First Park Opens in Texas This July
Universal is opening its first kid-focused park, Universal Kids Resort, in Frisco, Texas, on July 1. The roughly 20-acre park targets children aged 3–8 and features IP-based attractions with Shrek, SpongeBob, Minions, Jurassic World, Trolls, and Puss in Boots, without large coasters. It’s smaller than Epic Universe in Orlando, and Universal has started selling tickets and hotel stays ahead of the opening.
