Growing Military Collaboration between China and Russia Raises Concerns for Japan and the Existing Order
Japan's Foreign Affairs Minister has warned that China and Russia's increased military cooperation poses a threat to the existing world order in Asia and beyond. He accused China of intensifying its unilateral attempts to gain disputed territory in the East and South China seas and of intensifying military actions around Taiwan while holding joint military exercises with Russia. He urged European leaders to take the threat of China seriously while combating Russia in Ukraine.
