Tim Very Remembered as Manchester Orchestra Drummer After Sudden Passing at 42
Tim Very, longtime drummer for Atlanta indie rock band Manchester Orchestra, has died at 42 in a sudden passing. Joined the group in 2011 and played on the albums Cope (2014), A Black Mile to the Surface (2017), and The Million Masks of God (2021); the band's latest release was the 2023 EP The Valley of Vision. In a tribute, Manchester Orchestra described Very as a warm, joyful presence and devoted family man, noting his kindness, humor, and positivity. No cause of death was disclosed.
