Apple has unveiled the iPhone 15 Pro, featuring a titanium case and a faster chip for improved cameras and mobile gaming, in response to a global smartphone slump. The iPhone 15 lineup includes the standard model starting at $799 and the Plus model starting at $899, with prices remaining the same as last year. The Pro series starts at $999, and the Pro Max at $1,199, with both models offering a brighter display, a 48-megapixel camera, and 100% recycled cobalt in their batteries. The iPhone 15 Pro Max also introduces a new camera lens with a longer optical zoom. Additionally, Apple announced the introduction of USB-C charging cables for the iPhone 15 and AirPods Pro, as well as the ability to record high-quality video directly to an external hard drive. The company also showcased the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2, along with its commitment to using sustainable materials.
Grand Seiko has introduced its first mechanical chronograph, the Tentagraph, which features a high-beat movement with a frequency of ten beats per second and a power reserve of three days. The watch has a titanium case with a ceramic bezel insert and a blue "Mt. Iwate" pattern dial. It is part of the Evolution 9 Collection and is put through rigorous testing for accuracy. The watch will be available in June 2023 for $13,700.
