Unruly Passenger Forces United Flight to Divert to Tokyo en Route to San Francisco
A United Airlines flight from Shanghai to San Francisco diverted to Tokyo Narita about two hours after takeoff due to a disruptive passenger; Tokyo police escorted the passenger off upon landing, and after a maintenance issue caused additional delays the flight continued to San Francisco, arriving roughly 1 hour 40 minutes late.
