Netflix’s Tiny Elite Captures Over Half the Views in H1 2026
Netflix’s top titles dominate the service: in the first half of 2026, the top 500 series and films accounted for 47% of series views and 51% of movie views, though they represent only about 6% of the catalog. The top 20 series alone accounted for 8.5% of series views, and the top 500 titles totaled 4.94 billion views out of 10.44 billion. The four elite titles (His & Hers, Bridgerton S4, War Machine, The Rip) accounted for about 2.1% of all views, while representing just 0.02% of available titles. Netflix is currently the only major streamer releasing this level of data, though it will move to annual reporting next year.
