Bank of America settles Epstein-related abuse suit, awaiting judge’s approval
Bank of America has reached a settlement in principle with women who allege the bank ignored Epstein-related transactions and facilitated his sex trafficking; the deal requires Judge Jed Rakoff’s approval, with legal papers due by March 27 and a hearing set for April 2. The case previously saw Rakoff rule that the bank must face some claims, and a deposition of Leon Black is unlikely to proceed due to the settlement.
