Minnesota tree-trimmer charged after coworker fatally crushed during shadow-puppet prank with hydraulic grapple
A Minnesota tree-trimmer, Christopher Crimmins, 34, was charged with second-degree manslaughter for allegedly fatally crushing coworker Tyler Lynch, 26, with a hydraulic grapple while the two were joking around and shadow-puppeting on the job in Apple Valley. Crimmins told investigators they were playing shadows, but the grapple moved toward Lynch’s head, killing him. Crimmins is jailed on $40,000 bail and is due back in court September 10.
