TSA intercepts double-edged blade hidden in bat-shaped flashlight at Tampa airport
A passenger at Tampa International Airport was arrested after TSA officers discovered a 4-inch, double-edged knife concealed inside a baseball bat-shaped flashlight. The item was hidden beneath the lining of a carry-on bag. While the traveler initially claimed ignorance, he later admitted to placing the item there to save space. Former TSA official Keith Jeffries noted that while concealed blades are not uncommon, intentional concealment raises serious security concerns and can lead to legal penalties.
