Fatal Collision in Tucker: 19-Year-Old Dies After GSP Crash During Stunt Driving Pursuit

A 19-year-old man died after a Georgia State Patrol vehicle collided with a pickup truck during a response to illegal stunt driving in Tucker. The crash occurred early Monday morning at the intersection of Mountain Industrial Boulevard and Hugh Howell Road. Both vehicles caught fire, but the trooper and his K-9 escaped. The driver of the pickup survived with non-life-threatening injuries. GSP has launched a collision reconstruction and administrative review, placing the involved trooper on leave.
