Dozens of Howard University Freshmen Unenrolled Over Late Payment While Aid Arrives
Dozens of incoming Howard University freshmen were unenrolled weeks before the fall semester after missing a July 10 payment deadline; some cited pending scholarships and aid that hadn’t yet transferred. Howard says it notified students of deadlines, will refund payments and scholarship funds already sent, but deposits for tuition and housing are nonrefundable, and affected students can reapply next year as transfers while aid is reviewed.
