Riverti Unveils Camouflaged M2 Prototype Reimagined as 1970s 3.0 CSL
Italian coachbuilder Riverti Automobili has revealed a heavily camouflaged prototype of its BMW M2-based 3.0 CSL tribute at the Tutto Bene Hillclimb in Italy. The project transforms the modern G87 M2 into a retro-styled homage to the 1970s 'Batmobile' touring car, featuring quad round headlights, a shrunken kidney grille, and a double rear wing. While the car retains the M2's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 473 hp, details regarding powertrain tuning, transmission, weight, and pricing remain undisclosed. Riverti positions this as a full rebody rather than a simple styling package, targeting collectors who value historical design over factory performance.
