Barber Breaks Silence After Grasso KO at UFC Seattle, Eyes Recovery and Return
Maycee Barber issued her first public statement after Alexa Grasso knocked her out and then secured a choke at UFC Seattle, ending Barber’s seven-fight win streak and delaying her title-shot bid. Barber said she doesn’t remember much from the fight and has been staying off social media after scary posts showing her seemingly “dead,” adding she’s OK despite the hospital stay. She thanked the UFC and Grasso, and said she plans to focus on a full recovery and a swift return to competition.
