Hamas Releases Video of 3 Israeli Women Hostages in Gaza
Hamas released a video showing three Israeli women held hostage in Gaza since October, following a UN court ruling calling for their immediate release. The women, two of whom claimed to be Israeli soldiers and one a civilian, have been detained for 107 days. The release of the video coincided with the UN court's ruling that Israel should prevent acts of genocide in Gaza. The October 7 Hamas attack resulted in the death of around 1,140 people in Israel, with about 250 hostages seized, and ongoing conflict has led to significant casualties in the Gaza Strip.
