Buckhannon Implements Safety Plan Following Confirmed Chickenpox Case
The Upshur County Health Department in Buckhannon, West Virginia, has confirmed a case of chickenpox. The highly contagious virus causes an itchy rash with small blisters and can spread quickly to the unvaccinated. Local health officials have implemented a safety plan in collaboration with the World Association of Marching Show Bands Organization (WAMSB) for the ongoing competition.
