Five Hurt as Pickup Crashes into Uptown Normal Children's Museum Exterior
Five people, including pedestrians, were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Uptown Circle in Normal. A dark blue pickup struck the corner of the Children's Discovery Museum, causing exterior damage while the museum was closed. Early indications point to a medical event by one of the drivers; officials say the building is structurally sound and plans were to reopen, with surrounding roads closed for several hours.
