Carolyn Marvin, a 78-year-old retired University of Pennsylvania professor, was arrested for disorderly conduct after refusing to move from the path of an Uber Eats delivery robot in Philadelphia. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon, marks the first time police have intervened in her ongoing protests against autonomous delivery systems. Marvin plans to contest the charge, citing her First Amendment rights, and intends to continue her demonstrations.
