Tesla has introduced its new V4 superchargers, which are taller and equipped with immersion cooled cables that outperform the liquid cooled cables in the previous V3 superchargers. These chargers have a maximum charging capacity of 350 kW, allowing for a charging speed of 115 miles in just 5 minutes. The V4 superchargers also feature longer charging cables, a payment screen, and a "Magic Dock" with a CCS charger. However, the credit card reader is not yet functional. Upgrades to the cabinets are needed to enable 800 volt EVs to achieve maximum charging speeds.
