Mark Cuban pushes for stake and disclosures in Mavericks' Valley View arena plan
Former Mavericks owner Mark Cuban filed a Dallas County lawsuit alleging adversarial business practices by current owner Patrick Dumont and seeking to force disclosure of financing and other details of the proposed Valley View arena project, arguing he remains contractually entitled to participate despite selling most of the team; the plan envisions a 104-acre Valley View site with a new arena and mall, and the Mavericks' lease at American Airlines Center runs through 2031.
