
Five Victims Identified in Amazon Cargo Plane Crash at MIA
Five people in a van died after an Amazon cargo plane overshot a runway at Miami International Airport and crashed into their vehicle and a nearby car; the victims were Rolando Aleman Leon, 55; Yoel Rodriguez Narajo, 53; Julio C. Pineda, 75; Carlos Acosta Fajardo, 53; and Javierk Reyes Quevedo, 47. Two van survivors, Ridoel Averhoff Diaz, 32, and Roosevelt Sebastian Perdomo Torres, 36, remain hospitalized, as does 79-year-old Eugenio Corredor who was in the Toyota; the pilots, Joseph Carroll, 55, and Jaime Filipe Silva Molina, 37, survived and were released from the hospital, and investigators continue to probe the crash.
