Serena Williams makes comeback with Queen’s Club doubles entry ahead of Wimbledon
Serena Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, will return to competition by playing doubles at the Queen’s Club Championships as a wildcard with Victoria Mboko, with a potential Wimbledon singles run to be decided. Williams, who turned 44, became eligible to compete on Feb. 22 after a six‑month anti-doping testing pool requirement; Queen’s begins June 8 and will serve as a possible launching pad for her return to the sport she dominated.
