
16-year-old lifeguard's dramatic Santa Cruz rescue goes viral
A 16-year-old lifeguard at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz sprinted into 10-foot waves to reach a limp child swept out to sea; with the help of a second lifeguard they pulled the boy to shore and reunited him with his parents, and the rescuers say they’re grateful for the opportunity and proud of the action that’s now viral.
