Rescuers are searching for 140 people missing after the Indonesian passenger ship Virgo Transport 8 sank in the Java Sea with 243 on board; 103 were evacuated and one died. Rough seas up to 2.5 meters are hampering the operation, with rescue ships and a helicopter involved and the last known position about 81 nautical miles from Banjarmasin.
