The Detroit Tigers lost their sixth straight game after a walk-off single by former Tiger Kody Clemens gave the Philadelphia Phillies a 3-2 victory. The Tigers were five outs away from being no-hit by Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler, but an error and a single in the eighth inning gave them a chance to win. However, they left the bases loaded in the ninth inning and the Phillies capitalized with a double and a sacrifice fly to tie the game before Clemens' game-winning hit.
