Maison Estelle Suspends Operations After Police Probe Possible Gun Incident
Maison Estelle, a high-profile Mayfair private members' club, has temporarily closed following the suspension of its alcohol licence by Westminster City Council. The Metropolitan Police initiated the review after an incident on 19 September involving alleged threatening behaviour and a possible weapon. The club, which charges nearly £6,000 annually for membership, states it is cooperating with authorities to ensure public safety while a full hearing is scheduled within 28 days.
