Toyota Unveils Five Woodland and Snowhunter Concepts at SEMA 2026
Toyota has revealed two distinct families of concept vehicles at the 2026 SEMA Show: the Woodland series, featuring lifted versions of the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sienna, Crown Signia, and bZ electric SUV, and the Snowhunter series, which replaces wheels with tracks on its body-on-frame trucks and SUVs. The Woodland concepts, designed by CALTY Design Research, showcase how electrified and family-focused models can adopt off-road aesthetics, while the Snowhunters demonstrate extreme winter capability for the Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, and Sequoia. Toyota emphasizes that these are non-street-legal prototypes intended to explore design possibilities rather than immediate production models, though they signal a broader strategy to expand the profitable rugged vehicle segment across diverse powertrains.
