Global Press Freedom Under Threat: Report

Reporters Without Borders released its annual Press Freedom Index, ranking 180 countries on their press freedom environment for journalists. Of the countries included, 70% were branded as "bad." The report warns of the propagation of disinformation, made easier by advanced technologies, and highlights the entire disinformation industry that intentionally seeks to undermine factual reporting.
