Henrico Man Found Dead After Argument With Home Residents
Steven Alan Jones, 39, was found dead in a bedroom at a home in the 1600 block of Hilliard Road in Henrico County, Virginia, on Friday night. Police reported that Jones was an unknown stranger to the three adults present at the residence. An argument erupted between Jones and the three occupants, leading to a shooting. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have been filed against the three adults, who were detained for questioning. The Henrico County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office reviewed the evidence and decided against prosecution. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on October 2, 2026.
