Olivia Rodrigo pushed back at backlash over a babydoll dress she wore in Barcelona, saying the criticism highlights how culture sexualizes young girls and unfairly polices their clothing; she noted she has worn more revealing outfits on stage and saw the dress as cool, not inappropriate, while citing 90s punk icons like Kathleen Hanna and Courtney Love as inspiration, and added that she’s promoting her new album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love (out June 12) with a fall US tour planned.
