Proximity Media Strikes Netflix-Exclusive TV Deal
Proximity Media Television, formed by Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, has signed a multi-year deal to develop series exclusively for Netflix after their Disney pact expired. The move places the company’s next slate under Netflix’s banner, with the founders and Netflix executives highlighting a shared commitment to distinctive storytelling. Proximity’s credits include Ironheart (Disney+), Hurricane Katrina: A Race Against Time (NatGeo) and Eyes of Wakanda (Disney+).
